The first restaurant on this list is located along North Canal Road and is the perfect place to go if you want a balance between the traditional and innovative. This place gives you the feel of an authentic Japanese dining experience if that is what you are looking for.
I would highly recommend this place to you. The main highlight of this restaurant that attracts everyone is the delicious and creative Kappo dishes. These are very satisfactory and will help you get over your cravings.
The dishes are made using authentic and fresh ingredients. There is also a very wide variety of dishes to choose from including Ramen. The Japanese dishes here are extremely mouth-watering, but there is also yet another attraction here.
Tamashi Robataya has an open kitchen view that allows you to see how your meals are being prepared. There is absolutely no chance of getting bored over here.

The Gyu Bar
Another restaurant that you must definitely check out in Singapore is The Gyu Bar. It has a very intimate setting that is also quite elegant.
If you are dining out with your friends, family, and colleagues, then this place is definitely an excellent choice for you.
The restaurant provides you with an artisanal gourmet dining experience. Although the restaurant is not very budget-friendly, the options over here are quite limitless.
The menu is split between lunch and dinner courses with some of the most delicious dishes you will ever try.
The most popular and prime dish of The Gyu Bar is their premium Wa-Oh Japanese beef. You can explore it in different flavors and textures. Every cow that is used in the restaurant is raised in a stress-free environment and is fed with vegetables.
You will love their premium selection of meat here. You can also get a variety of other dishes including organic seafood, steak, noodle soup, and ramen.

Tatsu
If you want budget-friendly meal sets and delicious dishes, look no further than Tatsu. The first reason why I absolutely love this restaurant is that it is the only Japanese restaurant that has a 24 seater long counter. This gives you the feeling that you are eating in an actual and authentic Ramen restaurant in Japan.
This place is definitely the one to go to if you want an exclusive Japanese Ramen dining experience.
Another reason why this is one of my favorite places to go to is that the sashimi and sushi available here are just so good in taste and quality. This is because the restaurant uses a wide variety of raw fish that are transported directly from Japan four times a week.
Also, this is one of the few options in Singapore where you can get Japanese cuisine at an affordable rate. This is the perfect place for you to grab a quick bite. Tatsu also offers private dining in high-end surroundings that are perfect for your date night and corporate gatherings.

Fat Cow
Fat Cow is one of the few places in Singapore where you can get the best tasting and finest Wagyu. The restaurant is quite simple and minimalist in its setting, but the menu is quite fine and fancy.
The restaurant mainly serves handpicked Wagyu beef that has been sourced from the most reputable farms in the world. It really does take pride in its premium Wagyu beef offerings. You can also pick out your own preferred beef and preparation style.
The beef is prepared using these methods: sukiyaki, shabu-shabu, hobayaki, and sumibiyaki. The different menu options at Fat Cow include lunch, a la carte, dinner, desserts, and sakes.
It is not a very cheap restaurant to go to but I still highly recommend this for its wonderful menu. However, I would not like to recommend this if you are looking for a quick dining spot. I would also like to recommend this place for your romantic days and other special occasions.
The place is also very entertaining because you can always engage yourself in fun conversations with the chef as they prepare your meal.
