Two significant exhibitions now feature exceptional treasures and celebrated works of Japanese art and culture. They launched on April 19 in Nara and Kyoto.

These exhibits are arranged by The Asahi Shimbun and other organizations. They run until June 15, coinciding with the Osaka Kansai Expo that began on April 13.

El Nara National Museum presents “Oh! Kokuho: Resplendent Treasures of Devotion and Heritage.” This marks a notable moment for the museum as it is their first full-scale exhibition dedicated to national treasures, commemorating its 130th anniversary.
