Nail polishes are an evergreen trend that doesn’t seem to have a cessation. Painting your nails to match your outfit or the season isn’t just about beautifying your nails but also a way of flaunting them and depicting how trendy you’re.

There are countless nail polish brands in the market but none of them can come close to the J-beauty brand Canmake which formulates unique nail colors that grant complete coverage without staining.

I’ve tested on a bunch of Canmake Nail Polish and reviewed them below based on coverage, vibrancy, glimmer, and how long they last.

Canmake Nail Polish Review

Canmake Colorful Nails N12 Almond Green

The first Canmake nail polish shade on our list is N12 Almond Green. When I purchased the Almond Green nail polish, the color wasn’t parallel to any green shade I’ve witnessed before but was rather a dark gray color.

The nail polish bottle was made of glass and the liquid volume was 8 mm. The nail polish applicator brush had a glossy silver topper.

The nail polish was watery and lightweight and it had a simple scent to it that didn’t smell like overpowering chemicals.

Thanks to the grip of the applicator brush, I could effortlessly apply it to my nails. The nail polish color was jazzy when I dipped the brush in.

When applied to my nails, the nail polish had a dark gray color under dim light but as I stepped outdoors the original almond green shade showed up. Just one coat was sufficient to cover my nails and it lasted longer than I anticipated.

I honestly admire the color-switching feature of this almond-green polish and the fact that it complements all my outfits have made the Canmake Almond Green nail polish one of my favorites. 

Pros:

• Switches color from gray to almond green under different lights

Cons: 

• Color switching feature may not suit everyone
• Texture can be watery

Canmake Colorful Nails N06 Raspberry Milk

I was expecting a bright pinkish-red color when the bottle read Raspberry Milk rather the nail polish possessed a slight brassy red tone. Like all Canmake nail polish on the list, this also came in a glass bottle of 8 mm liquid with a silver topper lid.

The texture of the raspberry milk nail polish was very runny compared to the almond green polish. Thus I had to apply double coats of raspberry milk nail polish to my nails.

The nail polish had a mediocre shine but was more like a matte color hence I had to apply top gloss. Albeit I could conveniently apply it to my nails, I had to be cautious to not let the liquid drip onto my skin.

Furthermore, this shade didn’t stick longer on my nails and would chip off a few days after application. I had high expectations of the Canmake Raspberry Milk nail polish but it wasn’t for me. 

Pros: 

• Lightweight
• Has an average gloss
• No staining

Cons: 

• Very runny
• Should apply more than 2 coats to get the color
• Didn’t last long
• The color was not as advertised

Canmake Colorful Nails N13 Retro Mustard

This nail polish color of Canmake is called Retro Mustard and it’s just the shade that made me ecstatic. The shade is a warm and deep mustard yellow that’s ideal for the fall and summer seasons.

Although through the bottle the nail polish color looks yellow via the bottle, it appears to be its stated color. 

Unlike the two previous Canmake nail polishes, this retro mustard polish had a thick liquid texture. Hence with just one coat of nail polish, my nails were completely colored in retro mustard.

As soon as my nails dried, the glitter was still present, and even after a week, the nail polish didn’t lose its vibrancy and glitter. The nail polish shade goes well with any outfit irrespective of the color. 

However, the Canmake Retro Mustard nail polish liquid was quite dense which caused the nail polish brush to harden after every application.

Even a few dried bits of the nail polish was getting on my nails which was an inconvenience when applying. In fact, my nails took a long time to dry as well.

Pros: 

• Gives a vibrant and glittering finish
• Unique deep mustard shade
• Lasts up to weeks
• One coat is adequate for full coverage
• Suits any outfit

Cons: 

• Nail polish liquid is very dense
• Takes a long time to dry
• Inconvenient to apply due to the thick texture
• Causes staining

Canmake Colorful Nails N36 Bitter Caramel 

The Canmake Bitter Caramel Nail Polish is the most sought-after shade on Amazon. This nail polish shade is similar to the colors of pumpkin spice and caramel sauce thus the inspiration behind the name.

The warm brown color with a hint of orange is the most ideal nail polish for the fall season and what I love about this shade is it complements neutral-colored outfits.

The nail polish texture wasn’t too thick or runny. It had a perfect consistency which applied smoothly to my nails.

I applied two coats of the Canmake Bitter Caramel nail polish to bring out the beautiful brunette sparkle. Within just 2 minutes after application, the nail polish dried real quick. 

Although the nail polish remained intact on my nails for a month, it lost its beam just within a week. The bitter caramel nail polish tends to wear off its shine especially when your hands come into contact with water. 

Nonetheless, this is one of my favorite nail polish colors from Canmake and I would certainly buy it again. I just wish the bottle was much bigger in size so it could last longer.

• Has a perfect consistency
• Easy to apply
• Dries in minutes
• Beams immediately after applied
• Long-lasting
• Doesn’t stain

Cons: 

• The glitter of the nail polish wears off within weeks
• The bottle should’ve been bigger

Canmake Colorful Nails N15 Chocolate Syrup

The Chocolate Syrup color from Canmake nail polish is one of a kind. The color appears to be light from the bottle but it has very dark pigments and reveals its true color after application. 

The consistency of the Chocolate Syrup nail polish was quintessential and similar to that of chocolate sauce.

When applying one coat of this nail polish, it superficially looked like milk chocolate, however after applying two coats the color just got darker and strongly resembled dark chocolate blocks. 

Despite the color-switching tendency of the nail polish, I was drooling over my nails since they looked like chocolate. Don’t believe it? Try it out for yourself and see how enticing your nails look. 

The glittering finish of the Chocolate Syrup nail polish is unmatchable. My nails were beaming as soon as I applied the nail polish and it didn’t take much longer to dry.

The Canmake Chocolate Syrup nail polish looks more exceptional on long nails than on short ones. 

However, my only complaint was that it stained my nails so much which is understandable due to the dark pigments in the nail polish.

• Grants the iconic chocolate finish
• Extremely glossy
• Applies smoothly on the nails
• Dried quickly enough

Cons: 

• Darker pigments in the nail polish stains nails

Canmake Colorful Nails N10 Pale Lavender

The Pale Lavender nail polish from Canmake is every girl’s dream come true shade. It subtly brings about femininity when applied to the nails and is such an exotic color.

The Pale Lavender hue in the nail polish is indeed light but very electrifying due to its shimmering finish.

The consistency was quite runny which didn’t do justice to this dazzling color. It was a piece of cake to apply but one coat didn’t reveal its natural shade.

Thus I had to apply at least 3-4 coats on each nail for the lavender tone to display brightly. Yet they still looked outstanding and girly.

This nail polish color perfectly complements any cool-colored outfits and is ideal for the summer and spring seasons. 

The luster was present on my nails for weeks to come and since I applied more than 2 coats of the Canmake Pale Lavender nail polish, the paint didn’t chip off from my nails.

However, if you were to apply one coat of this nail polish, it’ll wear off very soon. Besides, it dried quickly and suits both short and long nails.

Pros: 

• Cheaper than most Canmake nail polish
• Pale lavender is a light yet exotic color
• Easy to apply
• Has a long-lasting luster
• Complements feminine and cool-colored clothes
• Dries instantly

Cons: 

• Runny consistency
• Should apply more than 2 coats for the color to be visible
• Wears off soon if 1 coat is applied
• May not suit all outfits
