Summer Wars Mamoru Hosoda’s Latest Anime Movie
For nearly twenty years, anime director 细田守（Mamoru Hosoda has maintained a consistent pattern in his filmmaking. He gained widespread recognition in 2006 with 穿越时空的女孩》（The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.
Following this success, he kept up a steady pace, releasing new films approximately every three years. The timeline showcases notable works: 夏天的战争 debuted in 2009, followed by Wolf Children in 2012.
The Boy and the Beast was released in 2015. Mirai arrived in 2018, and most recently, his film Belle was launched in 2021.
The year 2024 passed without a new project from Hosoda, leaving fans of both the director and his co-founded studio, Studio Chizu, eagerly awaiting updates. Recently, excitement surged with the release of a teaser for his upcoming anime, Hateshinaki Scarlet.
