The storyline of InuYasha focuses on a teenage girl called Kagome Higurashi who’s ordinary life takes a turn when she encounters a demon. InuYasha: Season 1

The first season introduces Kagome who resides with her family in a shrine. Kagome’s life changes when she goes looking for her cat near a well. This is the first thing to watch in InuYasha Complete Anime Watching Order.

Suddenly, a demon appears and drags Kagome inside the well only for her to appear on the other side of the well. Kagome realizes that she’s in a different era in Japan.

The movie introduces InuYasha’s father’s past where he saves his wife from Takemaru, an army general but she hands her newborn son InuYasha to him and asks them to flee. 

Presently, InuYasha travels to visit Kagome and he finds the ancient sword of So’unga. The spirit from the sword informs InuYasha to acquire the sword but when he touches it he’s possessed and returns back to the Feudal period.

Kagome and Saya travel to find InuYasha and they meet Totosai who created the sword.

Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon: Season 1 & 2

This is a spin-off series of InuYasha that focuses on the lives of the children of InuYasha and Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru’s twin daughters Setsuna and Towa get separated from each other during a fire as Towa falls into a tunnel and is taken back to modern Japan.
